Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench (for gas models)
  • Tape measure
  • Gas leak detector solution

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from cabinets.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the stove top surface and controls.
  3. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect gas supply line using approved flexible connector. Apply pipe thread sealant and check for leaks with detector solution.
  4. Electrical Connection (Electric Models): Connect to appropriate 240V circuit with proper grounding. Ensure circuit breaker matches appliance requirements.
  5. Countertop Cutout: Cut countertop opening according to template provided in installation manual, ensuring proper support around edges.
  6. Secure Stove Top: Place stove top into cutout and secure with mounting clips provided. Ensure it sits level with countertop surface.
  7. Test Operation: Test all burners/elements and controls to ensure proper operation before regular use.
Warning: Gas installations must be performed by a qualified technician. Improper installation can create fire and carbon monoxide hazards.
