Self-Clean Electric Range

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Wire strippers
  • Tape measure
  • Voltage tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance on all sides.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the oven interior and exterior.
  3. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 240V, 40-50 amp circuit. Ensure proper grounding according to local electrical codes.
  4. Position the Range: Carefully slide the range into position, ensuring it's level with adjacent cabinets.
  5. Level the Range: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the range is perfectly level from front to back and side to side.
  6. Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install and secure the anti-tip bracket to prevent accidental tipping.
  7. Initial Burn-Off: Run the oven at 400°F for 30 minutes to burn off manufacturing residues before first use.
Warning: All electrical installations must be performed by a qualified electrician. Gas connections (if applicable) must be made by a licensed professional.

Troubleshooting
