Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Ice maker not producing ice Water supply issue, ice maker turned off, freezer temperature too warm Check water supply, ensure ice maker is ON, verify freezer temperature is 0-10°F
Small or hollow ice cubes Low water pressure, clogged water filter, restricted water line Check water pressure (20-120 psi), replace water filter, inspect water line
Ice tastes or smells bad Old water filter, contaminated water supply, need cleaning Replace water filter, check water source, clean ice maker system
Ice maker leaking water Clogged drain, misaligned water fill cup, overfilling Clear drain tube, reposition fill cup, check water inlet valve
Ice cubes stuck together Infrequent ice use, freezer door left open, high humidity Use ice regularly, ensure door seals properly, check humidity levels
Slow ice production High room temperature, frequent door openings, low water pressure Maintain room temperature below 110°F, minimize door openings, check water pressure
