Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe wrench (gas models)
- Tape measure
- Gas leak detector solution
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from cabinets.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the range.
- Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect to gas supply using approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe joint compound to male threads only. Check for leaks using leak detector solution.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet for controls and 240V for electric heating elements. Follow local electrical codes.
- Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install and secure anti-tip bracket to floor or wall according to instructions to prevent tipping hazard.
- Level the Range: Adjust leveling legs to ensure the range is level from front to back and side to side.
- Test Operation: Test all burners, oven functions, and safety features before regular use.
