Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location over your range with proper ventilation and clearance requirements.
- Remove Old Unit: If replacing an existing microwave, carefully remove it and disconnect all electrical and vent connections.
- Prepare Mounting Area: Locate wall studs and mark the mounting bracket positions according to the template provided.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall studs using appropriate screws and ensure it is level.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. A dedicated circuit is recommended.
- Ventilation Setup: Connect the vent duct according to your kitchen's ventilation system (external vent or recirculating).
- Mount Microwave: With assistance, lift the microwave onto the mounting bracket and secure it according to instructions.
- Test Operation: Test all microwave functions and ventilation to ensure proper operation.
