Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Drill with bits
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Stud finder

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and with adequate electrical access.
  2. Check Electrical Requirements: Ensure proper 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated circuit is available. Do not use extension cords.
  3. Measure and Mark: Measure the installation area and mark mounting points for over-the-range models.
  4. Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting bracket to wall studs for proper support of over-the-range units.
  5. Ventilation Setup: Configure ventilation system (external venting, recirculating, or convertible) according to your kitchen setup.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated outlet. For hardwired models, follow local electrical codes.
  7. Secure Microwave: Lift and secure microwave to mounting bracket, ensuring all screws are tightened properly.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, light, and fan operations.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation can create safety hazards and void warranty.

Troubleshooting
