Gas Range Slide In

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Tape measure
  • Gas leak detector solution

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure countertop cutout dimensions match range specifications. Clear area of debris.
  2. Gas Connection: Turn off gas supply. Connect flexible gas line to range using pipe joint compound. Check for leaks with detector solution.
  3. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  4. Slide Into Position: Carefully slide range into countertop cutout, ensuring it's centered and flush with cabinetry.
  5. Anti-Tip Bracket: Install and secure anti-tip bracket to floor or wall according to instructions.
  6. Level the Range: Adjust leveling legs to ensure range is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on gas supply and test all burners, oven, and controls for proper operation.
