Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe wrench
- Tape measure
- Gas leak detector solution
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with access to gas and electrical connections.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the range and oven interior.
- Gas Connection: Connect to appropriate gas supply line using approved flexible gas connector. Use pipe sealant on all threaded connections.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install and secure anti-tip bracket to floor or wall according to instructions to prevent tipping.
- Level the Range: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the range is level from front to back and side to side.
- Test for Gas Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. If bubbles form, there is a leak - tighten connections and retest.
- Initial Burner Check: Test all burners for proper ignition and flame characteristics (blue flame with yellow tips).
