Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Gas leak detector solution
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Tape measure
- Level
- Pipe thread sealant
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from overhead cabinets.
- Prepare Countertop Cutout: Measure and cut the countertop according to the template provided with your cooktop model.
- Gas Line Connection: Connect to a properly sized gas supply line using an approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
- Check for Gas Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, tighten connections and retest.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet for ignition system and controls.
- Secure Cooktop: Place the cooktop into the cutout and secure with mounting brackets provided.
- Test Operation: Test all burners for proper ignition and flame characteristics before regular use.
