Gas Cooktop Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Gas leak detector solution
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Tape measure
  • Level
  • Pipe thread sealant

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from overhead cabinets.
  2. Prepare Countertop Cutout: Measure and cut the countertop according to the template provided with your cooktop model.
  3. Gas Line Connection: Connect to a properly sized gas supply line using an approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
  4. Check for Gas Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, tighten connections and retest.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet for ignition system and controls.
  6. Secure Cooktop: Place the cooktop into the cutout and secure with mounting brackets provided.
  7. Test Operation: Test all burners for proper ignition and flame characteristics before regular use.
Warning: Gas appliance installation must be performed by a qualified technician in accordance with local codes and regulations. Improper installation can cause gas leaks, fire, or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Troubleshooting

Safety Information
