Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Voltage tester
  • Wire strippers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Cutout: Measure and cut countertop opening according to specifications in manual. Ensure proper clearance from cabinets and walls.
  2. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 240V, 40-50A circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  3. Secure Cooktop: Place cooktop into cutout and secure with mounting brackets provided. Ensure it sits level with countertop.
  4. Connect Power Wires: Connect black, red, white, and green wires to corresponding terminals in junction box.
  5. Test Installation: Turn on power and test all heating elements and controls for proper operation.
  6. Final Check: Ensure all connections are tight and cooktop is securely mounted before use.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician or installer. Improper installation can cause fire, electric shock, or injury.

Troubleshooting
