Step-by-Step Installation
- Prepare Cutout: Measure and cut countertop opening according to specifications in manual. Ensure proper clearance from cabinets and walls.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 240V, 40-50A circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
- Secure Cooktop: Place cooktop into cutout and secure with mounting brackets provided. Ensure it sits level with countertop.
- Connect Power Wires: Connect black, red, white, and green wires to corresponding terminals in junction box.
- Test Installation: Turn on power and test all heating elements and controls for proper operation.
- Final Check: Ensure all connections are tight and cooktop is securely mounted before use.
