30-inch Freestanding Range

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe wrench
  • Gas leak detector solution (for gas models)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from cabinets.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the range oven.
  3. Gas/Electric Connection: For gas models: Connect to proper gas supply line with approved connector. For electric models: Connect to dedicated 240V, 40A circuit.
  4. Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install and secure the anti-tip bracket to the floor or wall according to instructions to prevent tipping.
  5. Position the Range: Carefully slide the range into position, ensuring it's properly engaged with the anti-tip bracket.
  6. Level the Range: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the range is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Final Checks: Check all connections for leaks (gas models), ensure proper grounding, and verify all controls are accessible.
  8. Test Operation: Perform initial burn-off cycle to remove manufacturing residues and test all functions.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified installer. Gas connections must be checked for leaks. Proper installation is required to maintain warranty coverage and ensure safe operation.

Troubleshooting
