Convection Microwave Oven

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with appropriate bits
  • Stud finder

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and with access to electrical outlet.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all protective films, packaging materials, and shipping supports from the microwave oven.
  3. Check Electrical Requirements: Ensure dedicated 20-amp circuit is available. Microwave requires 120V, 60Hz AC power.
  4. Mounting Preparation: If over-the-range model, install mounting plate securely to wall studs using provided hardware.
  5. Ventilation Setup: Connect ventilation duct according to your kitchen's configuration (external venting or recirculating).
  6. Install Microwave: Lift microwave onto mounting plate or place on countertop. Secure with mounting screws as required.
  7. Test Operation: Plug in microwave and test all functions including convection, microwave, and combination cooking modes.
Warning: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
