Smart Home Integration System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Network cable (optional)
  • Smartphone with Whirlpool app
  • Wi-Fi network credentials
  • Power adapter

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a central location within your home with strong Wi-Fi signal and near your Whirlpool appliances.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the Connected Hub to a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
  3. Network Connection: Connect to your home Wi-Fi network using the Whirlpool app or connect via Ethernet cable for more stable connection.
  4. App Setup: Download the Whirlpool app from your smartphone's app store and create an account.
  5. Hub Registration: Follow the in-app instructions to register your Connected Hub using the QR code on the device.
  6. Appliance Pairing: Add your compatible Whirlpool appliances to the hub through the app's device discovery feature.
  7. Test Connection: Verify all connected appliances are communicating properly with the hub and accessible through the app.
Warning: Ensure your home network meets the minimum requirements for optimal performance. Use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band for best compatibility.
