Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe wrench (gas models)
- Tape measure
- Electrical tester
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from cabinets.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the range.
- Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect to gas supply using approved flexible connector. Apply pipe joint compound to male threads only. Check for leaks with soap solution.
- Electrical Connection (Electric Models): Connect to properly grounded 240V, 60Hz circuit. Use appropriate wire gauge for amperage requirements.
- Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install anti-tip bracket to wall or floor as specified in instructions to prevent tipping.
- Position the Range: Slide range into position, ensuring it's level and properly aligned with cabinets.
- Final Checks: Verify all connections are secure, install knobs/controls, and perform initial test of all burners and oven functions.
