Gas & Electric Models

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench (for gas models)
  • Tape measure
  • Voltage tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from cabinets.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the range.
  3. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect to gas supply using approved flexible connector. Check for leaks with soap solution. Use pipe thread sealant on all connections.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 240V outlet for electric models or 120V for gas models with electric ignition.
  5. Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install anti-tip bracket to wall or floor as specified in instructions to prevent tipping.
  6. Position the Range: Slide range into position, ensuring it's level and properly aligned with cabinets.
  7. Test Operation: Test all burners, oven functions, and safety features before regular use.
Warning: Gas range installation must be performed by a qualified technician. Improper installation can cause gas leaks, fire, or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Troubleshooting

Error Codes
