Electric Range Components

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Voltage tester
  • Tape measure

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation and clearance from combustible materials.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials and protective coverings from the electric range.
  3. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 60Hz, 40A circuit. Use appropriate wiring and breaker.
  4. Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install the anti-tip bracket to the floor or wall as specified in the instructions.
  5. Position the Range: Carefully slide the range into position, ensuring it engages with the anti-tip bracket.
  6. Level the Range: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the range is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Operation: Test all burners, oven functions, and controls to ensure proper operation.

Parts Identification

Heating Elements

Replaceable coil elements available in various wattages (1200W, 2100W, 2500W) for different cooking needs. Each element connects to the receptacle with a terminal block.

Surface Element Switches

Infinite heat control switches regulate power to surface elements. Available in single and dual configurations for different burner sizes.

Bake/Broil Elements

Oven Control Board

Electronic control board manages oven temperature, timers, and self-cleaning functions. Includes temperature sensor inputs and relay outputs.

Thermal Fuse

Safety device that cuts power to the oven if temperatures exceed safe limits. Must be replaced if blown.

Door Gasket
